The coaching process, based on the Hudson Institute Model consists of five steps:

  • Establish Coaching Agreement
    • Early articulation of Goals and Outcomes
  • In depth client interview, stakeholder interviews if desired
    • Refine desired goals that will result in desired future state
  • Build Plan
    • Identify possible obstacles
    • Become aware of and alter derailing habits
  • Execute plan
    • Measure results against desired future
  • Conclude coaching engagement
    • Measure outcomes and impact
    • Design follow-up process
